The Philharmony of Luxembourg is a remarkable architectural building, designed by Christian de Portzamparc. His concept was considered to be the best in an international competition. It was realised between 2002 and 2005. The facades are consisting of 823 white steel colums.

The building is situated in the Kirschberg area (where also some European institutions can be found) and is the homebase of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Luxembourg. In the great hall are 1500 seats.

De Philharmonie van Luxemburg is een architec-turaal opmerkelijk gebouw, ontworpen door Christian de Portzamparc. Zijn ontwerp kwam als beste uit de bus van een internationale wed-strijd, en gerealiseerd tussen 2002 en 2005. De gevels bestaan uit 823 witte stalen kolommen.

Dit gebouw ligt in de Kirschberg-wijk (waar zich ook diverse Europese instellingen bevinden) en is de thuisbasis van het Philharmonisch Orkest van Luxemburg. In de grote zaal kunnen 1.500 toeschouwers plaatsnemen.
