The
"Three valleys steam train" is one of the most active
associations in matter of the railway past in Belgium. They're
running the former railway-line 132 between Mariembourg and Treignes.
This
track is crossing through the valleys of three rivers : the Eau
Blanche, the Eau Noire and the Viroin. A regular train time table
is followed from April to October.
In
Mariembourg, the installations are situated, as well as a locomotive
deposit, a water tower and a coal stockyard. In Treignes, the
association has it's own railway museum. Well worth to visit !
